Our centre is a not for profit service, operating school terms only. We are a one unit service enjoying a spacious playroom with a capacity of 27 children daily

We aim to reflect the needs & interests of the children, our families & the Connect community. The early childhood years are crucial and formative years. What takes place during these years plays an important part in determining the way a person feels about him or herself, the way a person relates to others, their capacity to solve problems, the way a person thinks and learns. Chinese new year 2026! 🧧✨
Celebrating Chinese New Year with crafts, colors, and lots of little smiles! We read different Chinese new year books, created a dragon with paper plates painted and placed on by our very own friends, made play-dough noodles, gave opportunity for dress up with cultural clothing and more! learning about Chinese New Year through hands-on crafts, stories, and traditions. So proud of our little learners for embracing new traditions and cultures, What a joyful way to start the year! 🐉❤️

Welcome Back friends! The final term of the year is always a special one. Our preschoolers return ready to learn, explore, and have fun with their friends and teachers. We’re looking forward to making the most of every moment. ☺️💕

Enjoy this short clip of our little star exploring letters and sounds! ✨ Throughout our day at Connect, These letters and the students names are set up for them to learn and spell out their names. Through playful learning, they’re learning to identify different letters and even spell simple words — including our very own Connect Preschool! 💛

NAIDOC WEEK 2024

“Keep the fire burning”
The theme honours the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations culture – with fire a symbol of connection to Country, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This week we can foster a strong sense of identity, pride and self-esteem and enables students to develop a wider recognition and understanding of their culture, Country/Place and People. This then contributes to their wellbeing.

National Simultaneous Storytime 💙🐦🪶
This Year the Book was “Bowerbird Blues”
From this we have asked the children to collect their own blue recycling from home and bring it to preschool. We discuss topics around Taking Care of This Land. This will lead into topics surrounding Reconciliation Week, helping the children be aware of the amazing Creation and Caring for Country…
