Waratah Whispers Week 8 Term 2 PBL: Grow Your Mind

Stage One have enjoyed participating in the Jellybeans Music program this term, every Wednesday.
The students have learnt a variety of new songs through singing, movement and playing percussion instruments. They are becoming very clever when reading music notations and learning when to play their chosen instrument.
I'm sure there are many future musicians to come from EPS.

Congratulations to our superstar spellers who competed in the 2026 Spelling Bee. We are incredibly proud of all our students for their hard work, preparation, and impressive spelling skills.
A special congratulations to our junior finalists, Leiden and Nicholas, and to our senior finalists, Jack and Veronica, on their outstanding achievements.
We are also delighted to announce that our school champions, Leiden and Jack, will represent us in the regional finals, which will be held online during Term 3.

Whole School Athletics Carnival 2026

What a fantastic day our students had at the Whole School Athletics Carnival held at the Barden Ridge Sports Complex!

Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm, sportsmanship and determination as they participated in a range of track and field events throughout the day. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another, celebrating personal achievements and proudly representing their house teams.

A huge congratulations to all students for their positive attitude, effort and participation. Thank you to our staff for their organisation and support in making the day such a success.

We look forward to recognising our age champions and cheering on the students who have qualified to represent our school at the Zone Athletics Carnival in Term 3.

Congratulations to our students who proudly represented our school at the Engadine/Sutherland Zone Soccer Trials.
A special congratulations to Layna and Fletcher, who were selected in the zone team. They will now represent our school and the Engadine/Sutherland Zone at the Sydney East Championships later this term.
We are incredibly proud of their achievement and wish them the very best of luck in the next stage of competition. Well done, Layna and Fletcher!
