🌟 PSA School Recognition Week 🌟

This week, we celebrate and recognise the incredible contribution of our School Administrative and Support staff! 💙

Our school simply wouldn’t run the way it does without the dedication, care and expertise of our amazing office, administration, support and school services staff. From welcoming families at the front office to supporting students, staff and the day-to-day running of our school, their work makes a huge difference to our school community.

Thank you for everything you do, often behind the scenes, to help our school thrive. We are so grateful for your commitment, kindness and support. 💐

Happy PSA School Recognition Week! 👏💙

Kindergarten students have been developing their quick recall of tricky words through engaging literacy rotations. These hands-on and interactive activities provide opportunities for students to practise recognising, reading and recalling tricky words in a variety of fun and meaningful ways, helping to build their confidence and fluency in reading.
We are very proud of our Kindergarten students.

Moving forward, you will notice some changes in how we use social media.

While our social media will continue to celebrate and share the amazing learning, experiences, and opportunities at Engadine Public School, we are adjusting the way we present these stories.

You’ll now see a stronger emphasis on what students are learning rather than focusing on individual faces. This will be showcased through learning activities, student work, group photos, short videos, programs, partnerships, and special events.

This change reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting student privacy and safety, while still offering our community a glimpse into the school’s learning and life.

Photos of dance and choir groups are shared only within their private Google Classroom groups to maintain student privacy. For the Sutherland Shire Music Festival (SSSMF) and other specific events, only students who have given permission for that particular event will have their photos shared publicly.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue with this approach.

SSSMF Junior Concert

Our Year 2 students were all absolute superstars as they took to the stage last night. Everyone sang their little hearts out and really rose to the occasion. Our student comperes were an amazing support for Mrs Swift and so brave speaking in front of such a large audience. Our Year 2 Dance Ensemble did one of the quickest costume changes of all time and danced with so much energy and enthusiasm. Each and every young performer did themselves and their school proud. Bravo! 🌟🎵💃🕺

* Additional photos and videos will be added to the Choir and Dance Ensemble Google Classrooms over the coming days.

100 Days of Learning!

What a fun day Kindergarten had celebrating 100 Days of Learning!
Students enjoyed a range of activities centred around the number 100.

Kindergarten were involved in writing activities, a science incursion, creating 100 in maths and shared a beautiful story that encouraged them to reflect on their very first day of Kindergarten and how much they have grown in confidence, learning and friendships.
They also loved dressing up along with their teachers.

We are so proud of our Kindergarten students and all they have achieved in their first 100 days of school.
