Dinosaur Dig at Engadine Kindy Castle

Today our children enjoyed an exciting dinosaur dig in the sand! Using shovels, brushes and their hands, the children searched through the sand to uncover hidden dinosaurs and fossils.

This experience encouraged the children to explore, investigate and use their imagination while developing their fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and problem solving skills.

Our little palaeontologists had so much fun digging, discovering and learning through play!

Our little scientists had an exciting day exploring science experiments Falling Rain from Clouds and an Erupting Volcano!

🌧️ During our Falling Rain from Clouds experiment, the children watched coloured “rain” travel through our fluffy cloud and fall into the water below. This helped them explore how clouds hold water droplets and how rain falls when they become heavy.

🌋 we created our very own volcano eruption! The children were amazed as they watched the ingredients react, bubble, foam and erupt like lava. This experience encouraged the children to make predictions, observe cause and effect, and explore simple chemical reactions.

Through these exciting experiments, the children developed their curiosity, observation, while discovering how much fun science can be!

National Science Week at Engadine Kindy Castle!

Our little scientists had so much fun exploring a colourful Magic Milk Experiment!

Using milk, food colouring and dishwashing liquid, the children watched in amazement as the colours quickly spread, swirl and dance across the milk.

This science experience encouraged the children to explore cause and effect, make observations, ask questions and discover how different ingredients react together.

The excitement on their faces as the colours moved was priceless.

🚀 Blast Off Into Space at Engadine Kindy Castle! 🌎🪐✨

Today our little astronauts embarked on an exciting Solar System adventure! The children explored the eight planets, learned fun facts about space, and discovered how each planet is unique. Through creative, hands on activities, they painted planets, practised sequencing them in order, and shared their curiosity about the wonders of our universe. 🌟

Colour Sorting & Animal Counting at Engadine Kindy Castle 🦒

Today our children enjoyed a fun and engaging colour sorting and animal counting activity
They sorted the animals by colour and counted how many were in each group, building their early maths skills through play.

This hands on activity encouraged children to:
Recognise and sort colours
Develop counting and number recognition
Strengthen problem solving and critical thinking
Build fine motor skills through hands on exploration
Practise communication and teamwork with their peers

Fun in the Sun at Engadine! 🦖🏖️

Today was all about outdoor exploration, creativity, and fun! The children enjoyed spending time in the sunshine, building confidence as they climbed and slid down the playground slide, while others let their imaginations run wild in the sandpit creating dinosaur adventures and sandy castles.

We love seeing our little learners laugh, discover, and make wonderful memories together every day!

🌏 Earth Week at Our Service🌱
