Our Stage 1 students put their spelling skills to the test in our Spelling Bee! We were so impressed by the confidence, concentration and courage shown by all of our participants as they tackled some tricky words in front of an audience.

Our K-2 illustrator/ author visit by Tom Jellett allowed our students to explore the world of books from idea mode to publication. It’s a long journey before a book lands in our laps. Creativity and patience are key as experienced by Mrs Lo’s writing group who explored positioning of text, drawing features and language with Tom to create their own books.
There was much excitement and enthusiasm as they began to create their own stories.
