Congratulations to our 5/6 students on a very successful market stall. After weeks of hard work and preparation, our senior students sold treats, provided services and ran arcade games as part of their economics unit. A wonderful way to wrap up an exciting term of learning.

A little while ago for Pyjama Day our Prep students designed some PJ’s. Their designs were so amazing that Mrs Hendriks decided to send them to Kmart. The team at loved their designs so much that they showed and look what they sent out Preps… they were so surprised and excited when they watched this video!

A Prayer for our Confirmation Candidates making their confirmation this weekend:
God our Father,
We thank you for our young people who are preparing for the Sacrament of
Confirmation.
You call each one of them by name and promise that whatever happens in their
lives, you will be with them always.
We pray that this journey to Confirmation will be an opportunity for them to
deepen their faith and renew their hope in you so that your love may shine
through them to the world.
Send your Holy Spirit upon them to be their helper and guide.
Give them the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of right judgement
and courage, the spirit of knowledge and reverence.
Fill them with the spirit of wonder and awe in your presence.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Book Week parade is always a highlight, but this year was maybe our best yet! Our parents and grandparents, some even in costumes of their own, filled the PLC for our parade before joining students in their classrooms for a Book Week activity. Thank you Mrs Unwin for all of your hard work in creating special memories for our students 📚

A snap shot of some of the Science Experiments our 5/6 students have been enjoying lately. Through these hands on activities, students have been learning about potential energy, gravitational energy, kinetic energy, chemical energy and heat/radiation energy. They have also been able to practise maths concepts such as measurement. They have also worked on writing skills such as using conjunctions to write complex sentences that show their results while writing scientific reports.
