We’re now just four weeks away from welcoming WSKF karateka from across Australia for a great weekend of training, competition and connection.

Any South Coast Shotokan Karate USKU students please reach out to me if you are intetested and I'll advise if this opportunity is suitable for you.
EDIT: Matt has informed me it is targetted towards kids and teens.
Limited spots of 30 and they're filling up fast.
Elite techniques and training for 3 hours. Nominations must come through either myself or Sensei Andrew MacNeil by Wednesday.

Absolutely impressed by all who competed at yesterday's Jindokai Cup karate comp. Especially those who supported and cheered on our competitors, and our friends of other clubs. 👍
I don't know the medal tally, and I'm not too concerned about that. Special mention to all the first timers and lesser experienced students who showed courage.
We also suffered a student getting injured, which is never ideal. I hope you're on the mend Ben. 🙏
Sensei Andy was also happy with the South Coast Shotokan Karate USKU presence and spirit. Whilst myself and Sensei Andy were Tatami Managers on tatamis 1 and 2 respectively, we couldn't not notice the USKU attendance 👊

More prep work ahead of the karate competition tomorrow. 9 South Coast Shotokan Karate USKU students entered.
Kata drilled last night. Kumite drilled this morning.
Drilled some old stuff, drilled some new stuff.
Equipment inventoried and sorted. Locked and loaded for tomorrow. But students should bring what you have. 👊🥋
See you all in the morning. I recommend departing a little after 7.00am. Doors open 8.30am. First SCSK student on at 9.15am.

This tshirt reminded me Satu De Bono, almost 10 years ago to the day you achieved Shodan 🥋
You'd already left the dojo tonight as it dawned upon me.
It was our Adelaide seminar when you did the exam by hanshi Kenichi.
Happy 10 year Shodan anniversary 👊⛩️
