To bring this year's theme to life, we are thrilled to provide our students with a Whole-School ‘Seeds of Science’ Interactive Event. All students will have the opportunity to explore, investigate, and collaborate across a variety of hands-on stations. During Science Week, each class will have the opportunity to visit our Interactive Room and participate in activities, including:

The Great Seed Match: Test your observation skills by matching native and garden seeds to the full-grown plants, trees, and crops they become.

Guess the Mystery Seed: Put your investigative thinking to work using magnifying glasses and texture clues to identify mysterious seeds from around our natural environment.

The Seed Library & Story Nook: Dive into beautiful books exploring plant life cycles, ecosystems, and the fascinating ways seeds travel across land, water, and air.

Community Seed Displays: Explore rich visual displays showcasing how seeds form the foundation of global food security, biodiversity, and ecosystem health.

Happy Primary Principals Day, Mr Ferguson!

Today we give thanks to God for your inspiring leadership, patient heart and faithful dedication to our St Patrick’s School family. Thank you for guiding our students with kindness, respect, courage and hope.

This special day gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the vital role primary principals play in our school communities. Since we know many are reluctant to draw attention to themselves, we’re taking this moment to joyfully thank Mr Ferguson for his incredible leadership and service.

// Lantern Groups //

What a fun way to wrap up Catholic Education Week!

Our students gathered for their weekly Lantern Groups this afternoon. These small, multi-age groups bring our Prep to Year 6 students together to foster mentorship, belonging and connection across the school.

Today’s session focused on one of our four school virtues: Kindness. To put kindness into action, the groups took on the Kindness Web Balloon Challenge. To build and strengthen their web, each student shared a meaningful way they could spread kindness around our school, then worked together to keep their balloon afloat.

It was a fantastic, hands-on reminder of how uplifting one another makes our school community stronger. Every kind word and supportive action connects us and lets our light shine bright!

Well done to all our students for living out our virtues so beautifully this week.

Happy Catholic Education Week everyone!

// Catholic Education Week NET Team visit //

As part of our Catholic Education Week celebrations, we were thrilled to welcome our Diocesan NET (National Evangelisation Team) team to our school on Tuesday.

NET consists of dynamic young adult volunteers who travel to schools and parishes right across Australia to share their faith.

Throughout the day, they led engaging workshops, interactive games and inspiring activities with several of our student groups. It was a fantastic opportunity for our kids to connect with relatable, enthusiastic mentors who are passionate about living out their faith.

Thank you to the NET Team for bringing so much energy, joy and inspiration to St Patrick’s today, fitting in perfectly with our Catholic Education Week theme, "Share your light, inspire others!"

// Catholic Education Week Buddy Class Activities //

On Monday, our Preps through to Year 6s came together to put this year's Catholic Education Week Theme “Share your light, inspire others" into action. Our older and younger year levels, from Prep through to Year 6, paired up to complete a series of fun art and craft activities.

It was inspiring to watch our older students step into leadership roles, guiding their younger buddies with patience, kindness and encouragement. Moments like these remind us how special our St Patrick’s community truly is.

We love seeing our students grow, lead and inspire one another every day!
