Day 2 of the WCVS BELT MASTERCLASS SERIES # 2026

A colossal cohort of hungry students, doing great work, and ALREADY having significant personal breakthroughs.

The WCVS Belt Masterclass is back for 2026 - by your demand, for the 2nd time this year!

A safely-produced Belt is a huge requirement of female singers nowadays. Safe so that a singer can meet recording/performance requirements with minimum recovery time. AND, where necessary, 8 shows a week!

*In the Music Theatre sphere, an 8-show-week absolutely demands an efficient recovery time. If you are doing a school production, you have rehearsals after school or on weekends AND we all know that the way we talk/yell/squeal at school is not always the healthiest vocal practise. It follows then that you're probably rehearsing on an already-fatigued voice.

*In recording, a recording engineer or producer rarely thinks of recovery time when booking studio time and there can be 4 hour calls back to back (I've long been trying to educate this industry in that regard).

*If you're a successful gigging solo artist, your weekend could have as many as 8 x 3 hour gigs. I have singers facing that very experience.

So you see - KNOWING what you are doing physically (and being able to repeat it) is paramount because, in most cases, you're being PAID for your voice! (More of THAT in the Masterclass too!)

"Why not just do this work in my private lessons?" I hear you ask.
ANSWER: The opportunity to hear the physical constructs of Belt and how they affect the various other female voices present is invaluable. You can viscerally experience those changes and this gives YOU permission to apply the principles in the room with YOUR vocal architecture.
