This boy makes my heart explode with hope for the future of men. He is so kind and so thoughtful and so wise and emotionally intelligent...He asked for his 13th birthday that instead of birthday presents we donate the money to a charity that helps people who are unhoused.
Learning how to show up as a single mother to him as he approaches puberty has been a HUGE growth edge for me, and requires so much compassion for myself each time I "get it wrong".... 💔❤️

Most of us have been taught to mistrust the body and over-rely on the mind.

5Rhythms offers another possibility: that movement itself can become a form of meditation, release, prayer, seeking clarity and coming home to ourselves.

After teaching this work internationally for many years, it feels incredibly special to begin building a community for it here in Ann Arbor. ❤️
