🏆🏐 CLC ARE NETBALL STATE CHAMPIONS 🏐🏆

Congratulations to our Junior A Netball team, who were crowned Junior Champions today, officially making them the number one in Victoria! 👑

The team delivered an outstanding performance, going undefeated all day and showcasing exceptional skill, teamwork, determination and composure. To finish on top of the state is a remarkable accomplishment and a reward for the countless hours of hard work, commitment and their teamwork.

We could not be prouder of this talented group of students. You have represented our school with excellence and achieved something special!

Our Year 10 students had a fantastic three days at Mt Buller, enjoying beautiful sunny weather and making the most of their time on the slopes. While it wasn't the snowiest Mt Buller has ever been, students embraced every opportunity to develop their skiing skills, challenge themselves and have plenty of fun along the way. ⛷️❄️

Today's lunchtime Book Week activity featured a Harry Potter Trivia showdown, with students taking on Ms Pliszka, our English Learning Leader and Harry Potter expert.

While the competition was fierce, Ms Pliszka came out on top once again! Congratulations to Emily and Heidi, who received commendation prizes for their terrific efforts.

Huge congratulations goes to Kashvi on winning First Place in the 2026 Parliament Prize! 🏆

She attended the official award ceremony at Parliament House, where Victoria's young changemakers were celebrated for their innovative ideas and advocacy on important community issues.

Their achievement reflects not only academic excellence, but also the confidence to speak up, think critically and inspire others.

We couldn't be prouder of this outstanding accomplishment and look forward to seeing where their passion and leadership take them next.

Our Year 10 Food Studies students have been busy turning their cake designs into reality, designing and creating these stunning cakes for a person as part of the Cake Decorating Workshop yesterday.

From brainstorming ideas and sketching designs to piping, dedicating and bringing their vision to life, students showcased incredible creativity, precision and flair. The finished products were nothing short of amazing! 🎉

From handmade jewellery to delicious baked goods, today's Year 11 Business Management Market Day was a huge success! 💼🍪🧁

Held at lunchtime, students put their business skills into action by planning, promoting and operating their own market stalls. The atmosphere was buzzing as students and staff supported the wide range of creative products on offer.

A fantastic example of learning beyond the classroom, giving students real-world experience in marketing, operations and financial management. Well done to all involved! 👏

Year 9 students took a step towards their future careers yesterday, participating in an interactive workshop with Tom from atWork Australia through their Navigate Now program.

From learning the essentials of job applications to understanding what employers really value, students gained practical skills that will support them as they prepare for the Real Industry Job Interviews process later this year.

It's all part of helping students build confidence, explore career pathways and develop the skills they'll use well beyond school.

Our Year 8 students gathered on Monday to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption with Mass led by Fr Michael Sierakowski.🙏

In his homily, Fr Michael encouraged our young women to seek wisdom and guidance from older mentors, who can help them grow in faith and confidence. A special highlight was the blessing of our 2027 Student Leadership badges as students prepare for their leadership journey.

Thank you to Ms Lucy Angelico, Director of Faith & Mission, for organising this meaningful celebration, and to Fr Michael for sharing his inspiring message with our community. Thank you also to our wonderful choir for performing hymns throughout the Mass.💙💛

Using a fun, game show-inspired format, the interactive session explored youth mental health, practical strategies for supporting young people, what a headspace appointment looks like, and the supports available for families.

Thank you to headspace Greensborough and everyone who joined us for a fantastic evening of learning, conversation and connection.
