Hohnes Road Playhouse offers a fresh approach to playgroups. Are you the sort of person who would love to meet other like minded parents weekly for a chat and a cuppa whilst your children play in a peaceful, relaxed setting? Located in a natural setting in Eltham, the building and surrounds provide a private, quiet and homely environment where parents can build networks of support, share the challenges of parenthood and develop a sense of belonging.

A huge thank you to our volunteer committee who make the playhouse so special. Lots of volunteer time goes into keeping the playhouse running smoothly, from enrolments and party hire to maintenance and toy rotations, this is all done by volunteers. These volunteers are busy mums, who somehow find time to give back to the community that we love, so thank you!!
If you’d like to join our committee in any capacity please reach out. Every bit of assistance helps, and it doesn’t need to be a huge commitment.

Hohnes Road Playhouse is a short walk to the amazing Copper Butterfly playground. This bug themed playspace is so unique, with giant bugs, a ripper sandpit and butterfly climbing wall. If your little one is still full of beans after playgroup, you can burn off that final bit of energy to get you to nap time here! 🦋
