Lit up at night to please and excite.. Melbourne City from along the Yarra River is always most Marvellous .. A city always planned out and designed for pleasure and good health …From its early settlement until now it is still kicking big goals as a city... I heard yesterday, Melbourne has recently taken yet another award as ‘The Best City in the world’.. I’ve been telling that to loads of people almost every day for 4 years this May.. Despite it’s major housing crisis and the ridiculous amounts of roadworks going on at the moment due to its vast development, it’s still the easiest job in the world.. Its growth is phenomenal- when in 2005 we were 3.3 million yet only 20 years later we are close to reaching 6!! That’s almost double in such a short time! No wonder we can’t catch up.. I feel so lucky to have been born and bred here.. My job of sharing stories about how wonderful this city really is, is already done before I even begin 😉 🙏🏽💛🌃

Although many of us believe that youth is when we have the best time of our lives, being young is also infact a time in life that can be very difficult in many ways... It’s a time where a person is trying to make sense of life so that they can form a solid identity with which to walk forward in this life. A time in which a person attempts to rightfully detach from their caregivers, begin making decisions for themselves, make plans to become independent, happy strong individuals. As you could appreciate -even more now days - this has become increasingly complicated for our youth . Youth is a time when, understandably, a person hasn’t yet formed clear strategies with which to deal with grief, loss or confusion. Coupled with the disconnect that EVERYONE is increasingly feeling today, this makes youth understandably much more vulnerable and at risk. Mental health and su***de are a major concern for our youth today and therefore support to research, understand and treat them is vital for the survival of our species. As a child of migrants and a sibling of a person with a disability, I remember being very troubled at times. I remember needing to be supported by more than my family because they too were very distracted and busy keeping themselves above water as well. We sometimes need more than family and friends. We need a whole wide community to reach out and help in troubled times and this is what is great about Australia and these social schemes that help fund programs that make support available to disadvantaged groups. This is one way you too can continue be a part of the solution by donating to help create and sustain the services available for youth. I know that when those around me are happy, my world is a much better place too... Yes that’s right, I’m actually no angel at all.. the motive is really all just about me 😜 oh well at least I admit to it coz if you didn’t know it already, we’re actually all the same .. so if you’re not already doing it, I do strongly recommend.. Make your world sweet by helping make it sweet for everyone else… unless they are being a complete arse.. then you just walk away… otherwise it truly works 💯

It’s Christmas time again, and so what does that mean? .. Well I’m not 100 sure but for me this year it means recognition that to serve others is supreme.. that doesn’t mean you have to crucify or martyr yourself- especially to those who won’t help themselves as well - but it does mean to recognise that being preoccupied with only yourself is boring and uninspiring. We are on this earth to share the joys and the woes of being human. And especially to share how it hurts to be human.. How it hurts to be human because we are in fact fundamentally flawed in more ways than we realise. The wiring of our brains alone is cause enough for major misunderstandings and confusion in our little lives let alone to then understand everything else that’s going on around us from our families and right out into this wide world… We must continue to let go of the mostly false and negative thoughts and beliefs we experience and keep focus on the light.. So open your hearts and your minds.. have hope trust and faith that we together can get through this wonderful life joyfully by lifting each other up whenever we can. We can be strong and pure if we dig deep to find it with in ourselves as well as others. Then share your findings verbally with people and be Merry.. 📣 Thats actually what all our spiritual leaders are asking of us.. not to suffer but to find our joy.. Together we can be eternally light and joyful. And so this is what Christmas means to me. 🎊🎄🪽🙏🏽💛 I love going to the Greek church that I was born and baptised into to do my mountain pose and my chair pose and get my Zen on 😂🧘🏽.. I dare you to try… stop look listen and feel … notice the person deep inside of you who IS all that you want to be... that person is in there… strong clever beautiful kind calm joyous or whatever else you want it to be… Yes, free yourself from the deceptive constraints that our very flawed neurology places upon us and persist in resisting the thoughts and beliefs that do not serve you.. What thoughts and beliefs would serve you well? Create and maintain thoughts that will help you lift to a higher ground… believe in yourself...and things will start to work your way…Go on , you owe it to yourself 🪽 you ARE worth it.. live out your delulu of being your dream self

One of the great bonuses to being a tour guide is … My very own private viewing of the cutest little penguins on the planet!! Coming home with full bellies to feed their families who have been waiting for them on the land for sometimes days, weeks or even months!! .. They are such beautiful brave strong and funny little creatures working up their courage and using those little feet to make their way from the water and up those dunes to find their burrows and offspring .. Aside from my commentary OMG OMG ! 😳🫢🙄 Can you hear the gentle cacophony? … I just couldn’t believe my eyes when they first appeared at my feet! 🙏🏽💛.. Location remains secret to protect the animals sorry , not sorry 😉😇🫢😳😂

The sentimental journey PART 4 😳😂: I was very lucky to have family and friends to be with over in Greece .. They were all just phenomenally warm, open hearted kind and generous .. I found that of everyone I met.. Greece always reminds me that connection to others is King.. Greek culture highly emphasises the importance of conversation amongst others.. conversations of any kind.. conversations about the mundane as well as all the things beyond the everyday and mundane.. conversations about big stuff, feelings, meaningful stuff.. good times, family, life, god, food and tragedy.. ha.. which I think ought to be celebrated.. after all, Greeks WERE and still are the creators of lot of great things.. and it all stems from their ability to think big, create and share ideas.. they were also the creators of theatre and tragedy and I love the way it seems to me they still do all this on an everyday basis .. these connections are what keep the wheels turning .. talking especially about the sh*tful parts of your day or your life (aka tragedy 😳😂) is an uplifting thing because you share it.. it brings it out from the dark and into light.. this is when the load is made lighter and solutions are found to problems .. whether the solutions are about making concrete changes or just about creating a safe place to place those thoughts.. a shared place, then the problem is half solved... this is something that makes us cope, bigger and stronger or just ok with it.. it’s all good in the end when we can share it.. share life, share tragedy people, it certainly also makes life a little more fun and theatrical 🎭 after all, life is but a stage and we ARE all just actors.. you better believe it! 😘 .. thanks Greece for continuing to share your wisdom through your wonderful people and culture as well as your magnificent myth making lands 🙏🏽💛🇬🇷🏛️
