Hey everyone!!

My name is Ainsley Wells and this year I am proud to say I will be Townsville Picnic Bay’s Surf Woman of the Year.

I am so excited to be able to represent my club as it has been a large part of my life for as long as I can remember. This year I will be working with my club to bring awareness to lifesaving and beach safety as well as fundraising and helping with youth development.

A few things about me:
- I joined Townsville Picnic Bay with my dad and brother when I was 5 (almost 13 years!!).
- I love driving the IRBs and being out on the water, as much as I love training and competing with my RnR team.
- This year I am graduating high school and ready to take on the world

Hey hey guys,

My name is Chloe Silva and this year I am lucky enough to be the Alexandra Headland ambassador for Surf Woman of the Year.
Surf life saving and the Alex Surf Club have always been a massive part of my life and I have been fortunate enough to have made so many unforgettable memories with some of the best people.

I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity and am so excited for the journey ahead. I hope I can give just a little something back to the club that has given me so much and do them proud.

Throughout this year as Alex SLSC Surf Woman I will be working towards a range of personal goals through promoting surf awareness and safety, fundraising, enhancing youth development and community awareness.

Somethings about me:
💛 I have been involved in surf life saving for 15 years
💛I love competing in Surf Rescue (patrol comp & champion lifesaver)
💛 I’m a full time student at USC studying primary education
💛My little sidekick in the photo is my golden retriever Archie
