Our childcare centre in southwest Sydney is modern, spacious and bright, and will quickly become your child’s home away from home. With expansive indoor and outdoor spaces to discover, our environment is safe and engaging for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years to explore the world around them.

We’re so excited to celebrate Book Week next week at Guardian Elderslie! 📖🌿

From Monday 24 August – Friday 28 August, we’ll be bringing some of our favourite books and characters to life throughout the centre.

We can’t wait to see the children (and educators!) get creative and share their favourite stories and characters with us.

🌙💙 Pyjama Day is Almost Here! 💙🌙

Join us on Monday 20th July for a fun-filled Pyjama Day at Guardian Childcare & Education!

Children are invited to come dressed in their favourite pyjamas for a cosy day of learning, play, stories and fun with their friends. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxed day filled with comfort, laughter and exciting experiences.

🌱🧚‍♀️ Growing, Creating & Imagining in our Nursery yard! 🌸🥕

Our children have been busy little gardeners this week as they planted a variety of vegetables, colourful flowers, and even created their very own magical fairy garden! 🌼🥬✨

Through this hands-on experience, the children explored nature, learnt about caring for living things, and developed an understanding of where food comes from. Digging, planting, watering, and working together encouraged teamwork, responsibility, and a love for the environment.

The fairy garden sparked wonderful conversations, creativity, and imaginative play as the children carefully chose special spots for them to live. 🧚🍄

We can’t wait to watch our garden grow over the coming weeks and continue learning together. Thank you to our wonderful children for their enthusiasm and curiosity—it has been a joy to see their excitement bloom alongside our new garden! 🌱💚

✨ Welcome to Our Newly Reopened Toddler 1 Space! ✨

We are so excited to officially reopen our Toddler 1 room and welcome our little learners into a refreshed, inviting environment designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.

Our thoughtfully arranged learning spaces encourage children to explore, discover and engage through play, while supporting their growing independence, creativity and social development. From hands-on sensory experiences to imaginative play and quiet spaces for rest and connection, every area has been carefully planned with our toddlers in mind.

We look forward to seeing all the smiles, laughter and learning that will fill our Toddler 1 room. 💛

We use Storypark for a large part of our communication with families, including:

Our Preschool 1 (3–4 years) enjoy exploring, creating, and discovering through engaging, play-based learning experiences designed to support their growth and development. 📚🎨🧩

From developing early literacy and numeracy skills to building confidence through social interactions and collaborative play, each day is filled with opportunities to learn something new. Our educators thoughtfully create experiences that encourage curiosity, problem-solving, creativity, and independence while nurturing each child’s unique interests and abilities. 🌱✨

Whether they’re investigating, constructing, creating masterpieces, or participating in group discussions and imaginative play, our Preschool 1 children are building important skills that will support them throughout their learning journey. 💛

✨ Exploring, Discovering and Growing in Nursery 1 ✨

Our Nursery 1 environment is thoughtfully designed to provide our youngest learners with a safe, nurturing and engaging space where they can explore the world around them through age-appropriate experiences.

Through sensory play, music and movement, tummy time, storytelling, creative experiences and meaningful interactions with educators, children are supported to develop their communication skills, curiosity, confidence and sense of belonging. Our educators carefully plan experiences that encourage each child’s individual development while fostering strong relationships and secure attachments.

We love watching our Nursery 1 children learn and grow every day as they reach important milestones, discover new interests and build the foundations for lifelong learning. 💛

Yesterday, our 3–5 year olds participated in a very important Bravehearts Incursion. Through age-appropriate activities and discussions, the children learned valuable personal safety skills, including recognising their feelings, understanding body safety, and identifying trusted adults they can talk to if they ever feel unsafe.

At our service, we are committed to supporting children’s wellbeing and empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to help keep themselves safe. We would like to thank Bravehearts for delivering such an engaging and educational program for our preschool children. 💜

We encourage families to continue these important conversations at home and support children in understanding their rights to feel safe, respected, and heard.
