They assist in providing valuable equip
ment and resources to the school and supporting the school's strategic plan. This page is for the P & C association only. The P & C committee is the voice of the parents. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings or help out at events. What Does the P & C Do? We aim to support student learning and teaching staff through fundraising that provides extra school items and resources. The P & C Committee work with the school, aiming to build a stronger school community where all students benefit. At P & C, you can contribute to: positive student behaviours and learning, student dress code, sub-committees, school routines, budget, fundraising and school surveys. Why Join the P & C? A lot can and has been achieved through the P&C and school working together towards common goals. To continue this important work, P & Cs need people with a range of talents who are committed to delivering great outcomes for their children and school. The more people involved, the more successful it will be. At meetings you can hear first-hand what is happening at Mawarra PS and have a voice on some important aspects of school life. Together, we identify areas where the P & C could help. For example, by providing further resources for classrooms or making improvements to the buildings and grounds. Participating in P & C activities can also help you to form friendships with other parents/carers and feel a part of your school community. We’d love the Mawarra P & C to reflect family diversity and perspectives from families across all stages at Mawarra.
