Our fantastic OHSC generously donated two beautiful gift baskets as prizes for our fundraiser.

This week, every student who raised any amount was entered into the draw for a chance to win.

95 names were entered into the randomiser this morning, and our two lucky winners were presented with their prizes this afternoon! Video of the nail-biting draw will be uploaded shortly!

All of our surfers did an amazing job in challenging conditions, managing their time and heats throughout the day.

12:16pm: FYI - fire brigades are attending to a fire at the skate park. The incident is not impacting on school operations apart from us keeping students off the oval until we are certain the adjoining area is safe. We advise parents to keep their children away from the skate park this afternoon after school.

Languages Speech Competition Success
Congratulations to our students who recently competed in the 2026 Languages Speech Competition at Griffith University. We are incredibly proud of the outstanding results achieved across Spanish, Japanese, Russian and French, with students from Years 4–6 and a range of language backgrounds represented.

Our students achieved first, second and third places, as well as Highly Commended and Recognition awards across the various categories.

The 2026 Children’s Book Week will be celebrated on Thursday 27th August (week 7). All students from Prep - Year 6 are invited to dress up as their favourite book character.
On this day, there will be a Book Parade for Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students at 9am-9:30am on the oval. Parents are welcome to attend.
