A couple of weeks ago, three of our students had the opportunity to put their creativity and culture onto the field, designing boots for the Gold Coast Titans ’ Indigenous Round.

Through the NRL Schools to Work program and with the support of Miss Lani, Ruby, Zarah and Lakin were nominated to create designs for Titans players to wear during Indigenous Round.

💙 Ruby created the blue boots for Jayden Campbell
🤍 Zarah designed the white boots with a feather for Ollie Pascoe
🤍 Lakin created the second pair of white boots for Jayden Campbell

As proud Aboriginal women, the girls brought their own stories, ideas and creativity to the designs — creating something meaningful for the players to carry with them onto the field.

A pretty special opportunity, and an even better result.

𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀! 🎻

Our Elanora String Ensemble, Notation Nation, recently took to the stage at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod , performing in the magnificent Theatre 1 at Home of the Arts .

The ensemble received a Gold Award, resulting in an impressive 3rd Place overall! 🥉🏆

This is an incredible achievement for an ensemble still in its infancy. Their success is a wonderful reflection of the students’ commitment, hard work and perseverance, particularly while juggling the many demands of school and busy schedules.

We are incredibly proud of the way Notation Nation represented Elanora State High School today and of the musical growth they have achieved in such a short time.

VET can support a wide range of student pathways. It allows students to gain nationally recognised qualifications, develop practical workplace skills, explore future careers and contribute towards their Qld Certificate of Education (QCE). Some VET qualifications may also provide an ATAR pathway for university entrance.

This session will help families make informed decisions when considering subjects and pathway opportunities for Year 10 in 2027.

We encourage all Year 9 parents and carers to attend, even if your child is currently considering a university pathway. Understanding the available options will help you support your child to select a pathway that aligns with their interests, strengths and future goals.

This morning, Elanora State High School entered a precautionary lockdown at 7:30am.

Our emergency procedures were followed to help ensure the safety of our students, staff and wider community. We would like to thank everyone for responding calmly and responsibly throughout the lockdown.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and support of our students, staff and community as we continue to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of everyone at Elanora State High School.

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 & 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

There’s something pretty special about a school athletics carnival.

A bit of competition, a lot of cheering, some fun costumes, personal bests, house pride and plenty of students giving things a go.

But beyond the results and the points, days like this prove something bigger which is that our students are willing to step outside their comfort zone, back themselves and have a go, whether they’re chasing a win or just trying something new.

And honestly, seeing students cheer each other on, celebrate the small wins and get right behind their house is what makes these days so good.

A pretty great day all round! 👏
