🚨 Copy-cat Alert! 🚨
At Hi Art Studio, our team of 7 dedicated teachers develops new class materials every single day.
Our Head Teacher, Lan Kim, has created thousands of original references over the past 20 years — and we are proud of the quality and authenticity of our curriculum.
We know that many in the industry watch us closely, and we appreciate being a standard worth following.
But during level tests and consultations with new students, we often see clear copies of our curriculum being used by nearby studios in Brisbane.
These imitations are surface-level and can’t match the depth, quality, or philosophy behind our program — but they are still disappointing.
One educator even said:
“I already asked a lawyer. How can you prove intellectual property? How can you prove you created it yourself?”
A brutally honest — and sadly revealing — comment about how unfair this industry can be.
So instead of wasting time in battles with no winners, we’ve chosen to stop uploading curriculum materials publicly.
Copycats may continue regardless, but we will no longer feed them.
To our parents and students:
Please compare the quality — the references, the teaching process, the outcomes, and the resources.
Studios may charge more or less than we do, but we confidently state:
