💛 EA Appreciation Week 💛

This week, we celebrate our incredible Education Assistants and the important role they play in supporting our students every day. From helping students learn and grow, to providing encouragement, care and a helping hand when it’s needed most, our EAs make such a difference to our school community.

Thank you for everything you do, often behind the scenes, to help our students thrive. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated and caring team!

📚 And that’s a wrap on Book Week 2026!

Our Symphony of Stories continued right through to the final note last week, with an incredible author visit from James Foley, a special Teddy Bears’ Picnic raising money for Story Dogs, and our much-loved Book Week Costume Parade. We finished the week with Drop Everything and Read, welcoming our families into the school to share the simple joy of getting lost in a good book together.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for the creativity, energy and enthusiasm they put into making Book Week such a memorable celebration of reading, and to our families for joining us throughout the week. Most importantly, thank you to our students for embracing every opportunity, bringing stories to life and reminding us why we love books so much! 📖

Book Week Symphony 🎶📚

We’ve kicked off Book Week with a BANG — and what better way to start our Symphony of Stories than with a whole orchestra of reading, imagination and fun! 🎶📖

Yesterday, classes tuned in to stories at all sorts of times throughout the day, creating their own little moments of reading magic.

This morning, our Kindy A students stole the show with their costume parade and teddy bear picnic, followed by some very nosey dinosaurs popping into classrooms for a visit! 🦖🧸

And a huge shout-out to our staff, who have transformed their blocks into incredible story wonderlands. Every corner is ready to bring a story to life! 🌈✨

Our school was buzzing with learning and celebration a few weeks ago as we marked both NAIDOC Week and National Science Week! 🔬🌿

Our students embraced all the activities with curiosity, creativity and plenty of hands-on learning. From celebrating and learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives to exploring, questioning and discovering the wonders of science, there was so much happening across our school!

A huge thank you to our special guests, Vic Woodley and Dale Tilbrook, as well as Mrs Adams, Mrs Riley, the committee and our entire staff, for creating such engaging experiences. And, of course, a big thank you to our students for throwing themselves into every opportunity with such enthusiasm!

🎤 One Big Voice! 🎤

What a fantastic day for our students at One Big Voice! They have worked so hard in preparation for the big day, and it was wonderful to see them take to the stage with such confidence and enthusiasm.

A huge thank you to Ms Barrett, Mrs Sharp and Mrs Wegner for all the time, effort and preparation that went into getting our students ready. Thanks also to Mrs Kay for her help today. There has been a lot of work behind the scenes, and it certainly paid off! We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this such a memorable experience for our students.
