We're joining Tammy's Recycling Recruits!
Hambledon State School is excited to be part of Tammy's Recycling Recruits, a school recycling challenge encouraging students and families to recycle eligible drink containers through Containers for Change.

How can you help?
• Collect eligible drink containers at home.
• Recycle them through Containers for Change.
• Send your recycling receipt to the school office.

Every container counts! Not only are we helping the environment, but we're also raising money for our school. Plus, the school that recycles the most containers and raises the most money will win a $1,000 cash prize.

On Tuesday, 2nd June, our Reef Guardian representatives visited the Cairns Aquarium thanks to a Nature Based Learning Grant from Cairns Regional Council. Students learned about the Great Barrier Reef, the challenges it faces, and how everyday actions can help protect our environment.
The experience inspired our students to bring new ideas back to school and continue leading sustainability initiatives in our community.
Thank you to Cairns Regional Council for supporting this opportunity and to the Cairns Aquarium for providing an engaging educational experience!
