Mr Pankhurst is just one of the many amazing teachers who generously takes on extra roles and responsibilities beyond the classroom, giving their time, passion and expertise to support our students.

While the team may not have come away with the trophy this year, they should be incredibly proud of their efforts, teamwork and commitment throughout the competition.

Our Year 6 students are having an incredible time on their Canberra camp! Yesterday was filled with memorable experiences as they visited the Australian War Memorial where they had the opportunity to learn about Australia’s history and honour the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country.. The day continued with a tour of Parliament House, offering a fascinating glimpse into our nation's government. The evening was capped off with hands-on fun at Questacon, sparking curiosity and excitement for science and technology.

Year 6 Update, our Year 6 students are currently at the Australian Institute of Sport, enjoying a fantastic experience. The students are full of excitement, and we’re very proud of how polite and well-behaved they have been during the first part of the trip.

Year 6 have arrived safely in Canberra and are excited to begin their afternoon activities!

On Friday, both our senior and junior PSSA soccer teams showcased incredible skill, determination, and sportsmanship, capping off an unforgettable season. We’re so proud of the growth, confidence, and resilience each player has demonstrated qualities they will carry into future teams and challenges.

Our Juniors faced an undefeated side in their semi-final, battling hard before going down 0–2. They bounced back brilliantly in the third-place playoff, winning a tight 3–2 contest to finish third overall!

Our Seniors continued their remarkable run with a dominant 6–0 semi-final victory to reach the Grand Final against Glendore Public School. After a tense 0–0 draw through regular and 1-1 at extra time, the match was decided by penalties. With rain pouring down and tired legs, our Seniors remained composed and teamwork-driven, clinching a dramatic 7–6 shootout win to bring the Senior Crossroads Trophy back home to Edgeworth!

A huge thank you to Glendore Public School for an outstanding match and to all our parents and families for your unwavering support getting players to games, keeping them fuelled and organised, and cheering them on every step of the way. Your encouragement truly made all the difference!

Quick update for our Year 6 families, the group has safely arrived at Berrima for their Morning Tea stop and are enjoying a well-deserved break. Spirits are high as they continue their journey to Canberra!
