Last week we had a fantastic time celebrating all things books! From our visiting author to finding the Wallys and Caterpillars around the school, there was plenty of fun and excitement.

The highlight was definitely our Book Week Parade, with everyone looking amazing dressed as their favourite book characters. It was wonderful to see so much creativity and enthusiasm throughout the school.

Special guests Malcolm Kerr and Phil Cordery from Rotary Southern Districts were at the parade to be acknowledged for Rotary’s Community Grant which allowed us to gift a brand new book to every single student!

Thank you to our wonderful P&C for preparing all the books for distribution to students.

Next week is Children’s Book Week and this year’s theme is ‘Symphony of Stories’.
We will be holding our much anticipated Book Week Character Parade on Friday, 21 August at 9am in the Undercover area. We encourage students to come dressed as their favourite book character.
Parents are invited to attend.

What a fantastic start to the term! 🎉
It's been wonderful to welcome everyone back and see our school buzzing with learning and connection. We've loved introducing Bangers, our therapy dog, celebrating Pyjama Day, taking part in NAIDOC Week activities and kicking off the Music Rocks program.
We can't wait to see what the rest of the term brings! We'll keep you updated.

And Term 2 is a wrap! We finished off with a sausage sizzle in the quad to farewell Mrs Allsopp as she returns to her substantive school in Term 3. We all really appreciate the support you’ve given Eden Hill PS whilst you’ve been with us for the first two terms of 2026.

We hope everyone has a chance to rest and reset ready to return to school on Tuesday 21 July for Term 3.

🏴‍☠️ Pirate Day at our school was a fantastic success as we came together to support Childhood Cancer Awareness 💛

A huge congratulations to Room 9 for proudly running today’s assembly and helping make the day so special. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for getting involved, dressing up, and supporting such an important cause.

Together, we raised an amazing $309.85 for Childhood Cancer Support!
