We look forward to seeing all the different characters at our Book Week Parade on Monday.
We strongly encourage students to bring the book of their character for the parade.
There will be an opportunity for siblings and family members to also join in our parade - so feel free to also dress up!

We would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the amazing work of our School Services Officers (SSOs). Their dedication, care, and commitment make a real difference to the daily lives of our students. Whether it's supporting teaching and learning, assisting with administration, or helping in the classroom, our SSOs are always there to lend a hand and create a positive environment at Echunga Primary and Preschool.

We are incredibly grateful for everything our SSOs do. Thank you for your ongoing support, hard work, and the encouragement you provide to our students every day.

At the end of last term, The Lorikeet class designed and made arcade style games with moving parts as a part of their design and technology lessons. With the help of the younger students, the games were tried, played and reviewed.

Last Day of Term!

A reminder that tomorrow is the last day of term, with an early dismissal at 2:20pm.

After school, we'd love for you to join us for a relaxed School Community Catch-Up in the Community Garden. Bring the family, enjoy a chat, and celebrate the end of a wonderful term together. (Hopefully the weather plays nice!!)

Wishing everyone a safe, restful and joyful break.
We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones when Term 3 begins!

Muddy hands, soggy socks and joyful hearts 🤎

Today our R/1 students celebrated the simple magic of mud.
Mixing, creating, exploring and connecting with nature and one another.
Sometimes the best memories are made with a little dirt and friends.

Happy early Mud Day!

Today our Year 2-6 students went to Kuitpo Forest to put their orienteering skills to the test, following some sessions with Orienteering SA.
A big thank you to Cara for coordinating and for all our helpers on the course today.
There was then also some time for some exploration and to connect with nature before returning to school.

Huge thank you to Bunnings Warehouse Australia Mount Barker for their generous donation of earmuffs to support student wellbeing and regulation at our school.

These resources will help build upon our inclusive learning environments by supporting students who benefit from reduced noise and sensory supports, enabling them to feel comfortable, engaged, and ready to learn.

We are grateful for your support in helping all students thrive. 💙💛

Our Rosella and Kingfisher students became paper makers as they created their own recycled paper.

Building on our learning about materials and where they come from, students explored how paper is made from trees and discovered how used paper can be given a new life through recycling. They shredded, mixed, pressed and shaped paper pulp to create their own handmade paper.

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that helped students understand the importance of reusing resources and caring for our environment. ♻️💚
