Well….this is it.

Friday marks the closing of The Makery Co chapter. And what an amazing chapter is has been! Who would have thought that my tiny little art workshops in my backyard shed at home, would have turned into 6 incredible years of business, hundreds of workshops, thousands of attendees, countless wonderful things created, a vibrant team of employees and many many wonderful memories. I still cannot believe that I opened a studio in Hahndorf for three amazing years, and had a team that ran workshops all over Adelaide. I am filled with gratitude and humility for the support I have received from you all.

Closing the doors has been a difficult decision and not one I made lightly. Although there were many successes, running a small business in this current economic climate has its challenges, and I know I’m not alone in feeling it. Over the coming months I will delve further into that side of things if anyone is interested, but for now I want to express my deepest thanks to you all for your support and I hope you will join me on my next adventure….its going to be the biggest one yet! I won’t give much away at this stage, but let’s just say….ciao for now! 😘

We’re excited to introduce our 2026 Mother’s Day collaboration: Petals, Pamper & Paint.

In partnership with .honey and The Plough, Echunga, this experience offers a fun, relaxed and creative day out.

On arrival, guests are welcomed with a self-serve tea and coffee station, along with freshly baked scones with jam and cream, prepared by The Plough.

From there, you’ll move into a guided creative session with The Makery Co crew where you’ll paint your own pot or vase. Once finished, you’ll have the option to style your piece with either a fresh floral arrangement or an indoor plant.

The experience continues at our Salt Bar, where you’ll be guided by Kylie from .honey to create your own custom bath salt blend.
You’ll also have the opportunity to sample a selection of infused honeys, and take home a curated pamper kit, including:
– Honey with a honey stick
– Beeswax soap
– Beeswax candle

All inclusions are covered in your ticket price of $99 per person!!!

The event will be held at Echunga Hall. All ages are welcome, however guests under 14 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
