Last Friday, our Kinder 2 children went on an exciting excursion to visit some of the neighbouring businesses in our local community. The children enjoyed delivering drawings and care packages that they had thoughtfully created for the local businesses.

This was a wonderful opportunity for the children to connect with members of our community and build positive relationships with the businesses located so close to our centre. The experience encouraged the children to develop a strong sense of belonging and community connection while sharing their kindness and creativity with others.

We have an exciting week coming up, and we can’t wait to see everyone dressed up as their favourite emergency service heroes! ❤️

🏒 The Ultimate Match: Moama vs. Echuca! 🏒

Who needs an ice rink when you’ve got pure dedication, cardboard tubes, and a basketball?
Yesterday at the center, we witnessed an epic, impromptu game of outdoor hockey that had everyone on the edge of their seats!

Representing Moama’s Mighty Marvels, our very own educator Caity brought her A-game to the rink. But standing in her way was the formidable challenger from up north, representing the Echuca Icebreakers, it was none other than The Echuca Sniper!

With makeshift cardboard hockey sticks in hand and a basketball standing in for the puck, the intensity was off the charts. The crowd of peers went wild, cheering loudly from the sidelines with smiles all around.
It was a nail-biter right down to the final buzzer, but when the dust settled, the Echuca Icebreakers edged out the win with a final score of 2–1!

Our 4-Year-old Kindergarten children have been learning about The Colour Monster and recognising emotions.

They read stories about feelings and discussed how different emotions can be represented by colours. The children explored colourful sensory tubs, using their senses to investigate different textures and materials while engaging in conversations about how they were feeling.

These experiences supported emotional literacy, language development, self-awareness, and sensory exploration.
