About the Choir
Echuca Bellas ( formally Bella A’Capella) is an all-female community choir that has been in ex
istence for approximately 30 years. Bella currently consists of approximately 25 members who bring a wide range of skills and interests to the group. We are an incorporated organisation and have a management committee which overseas the organisational aspects of the choir. We love to sing a wide variety of music, mostly in 3 part harmonies. (Soprano, Alto, Tenor)
No audition is necessary to join the group as this is the community choir. Prospective members are very welcome to attend several practises before making a decision to join . Members are not required to be able to read music . Audio files and sheet music are provided . Sometimes songs are taught by ear. We perform publicly a few times a year for a range of reasons . We provide music for special occasions ie Christmas activities, Fundraisers for organisations, Aged Care performances. We welcome inquiries from any interested female singers.
