Last week for Book Week, we celebrated the joy and magic of books! The children enjoyed exploring some of our favourite stories, listening to familiar characters, joining in with repeated phrases and sharing their thoughts and ideas about the stories.

Through books and storytelling, the children are developing their language and communication skills, expanding their vocabulary, using their imaginations and building a love of reading and learning.

Last week we celebrated Science Week, enjoying a week full of curiosity, learning and fun! The children were encouraged to explore, investigate, ask questions and make predictions through hands-on science experiences. They experimented with different materials, observed changes and shared their ideas with one another.

These experiences supported the children to develop confidence as curious and involved learners, encouraging problem-solving, communication, critical thinking and a sense of wonder about the world around them.

Celebrating 5 amazing years of Bee’s Family Daycare.

What a privilege it has been to watch so many little ones learn, grow, laugh, and reach important milestones. I’m incredibly grateful to every family who has trusted me to be a part of their child’s early years. Your support, kindness, and confidence in me have meant more than words can express.

These five years have been filled with precious memories, special moments, and so much joy. I look forward to continuing to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play and thrive.

Thank you for being part of this wonderful journey.

Today the little friends engaged in small world play using miniature figures, vehicles, and materials to create imaginative stories. They collaborated with peers, explored relationships and community roles, solved problems, and used language to communicate their ideas. This experience supported EYLF Outcomes 1, 2, 4, and 5, while also fostering social and emotional wellbeing (Outcome 3).
