📚✨ THAT’S A WRAP ON BOOK WEEK! ✨📚

What an incredible week we’ve had celebrating books, reading, imagination and creativity at Eaton Primary School! 💙💛📖

🎶 Morning Music Mystery
Each morning, students listened to two orchestral pieces and worked together in their classes to figure out which books the music belonged to. A fantastic way to combine music, teamwork and storytelling!
🏆 Congratulations to our winning classes: D2, E1, E3, E4, E6 & F3! 🎉

🔎 The Missing Orchestra Scavenger Hunt
Students became detectives as they explored the school searching for hidden signs and solving clues. Each clue revealed a letter, with students working together to collect them all and uncover our special Book Week phrase! 🕵️‍♀️📚

🕵️‍♀️ Guess the Story Character Competition
Our Junior Primary students put their story knowledge to the test, trying to identify mystery characters from their favourite books. 📖✨

👗📚 Book Character Dress-Up Day
Wednesday was certainly a highlight, as students and staff brought their favourite book characters to life! From classic characters to creative and imaginative costumes, we loved seeing everyone get into the Book Week spirit. 🤩✨

Our classrooms transformed their doors into colourful celebrations of books and stories, showcasing the creativity and imagination of our students and staff. 📚🎨

🎬💃 Disney Book/Movie Disco
We wrapped up the week with plenty of music, dancing and Disney magic at our lunchtime disco! Students danced along to some of their favourite Disney songs and celebrated the end of an amazing Book Week. 🕺✨🎶

We would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs Bell for all of her incredible planning, coordination and effort throughout Book Week. From organising activities and competitions to bringing all the little details together, her creativity and dedication have made this week such a fun, engaging and educational experience for our students. We are so grateful for everything she has done to bring Book Week to life! 📚✨

Thank you also to our wonderful staff, students and families for getting involved and helping make Book Week 2026 such a memorable celebration of reading.

We hope our students finish the week with a renewed love of books, stories and the magic of getting lost in a great book. ❤️📖

What a magical morning at Eaton Primary School! 🌟📖

Our school was transformed into a colourful parade of book characters, with students and staff bringing some of their favourite stories to life through their incredible costumes. From beloved classics to modern favourites, we loved seeing the creativity, effort and imagination on display! 🧙‍♀️🦸‍♂️🐻👑

📚✨ BOOK WEEK HAS ARRIVED! ✨📚

Book Week officially kicked off yesterday, and we’ve already had so much fun celebrating our love of books and reading! 📖💛

Our classrooms have been getting creative with some amazing door displays 🎨📚

🎶 Daily Music Mystery
Each morning, Ms Bell is playing two orchestra pieces of music inspired by books. Students are invited to listen carefully, guess which books the music relates to, and record their answers. 🎵🤔📖

📚 Daily Library Reading
There will also be daily book readings happening in the library, giving our students plenty of opportunities to discover new stories and enjoy some quiet reading time.

And, of course, we’re especially excited for TOMORROW! 🎉📚
Our Book Week Dress-Up Day and Parade is happening, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful book-inspired costumes around the school!

What a fantastic time our Kindy students had at their PBS Disco last week! 💃🕺✨

Our little superstars danced, laughed, played and showed off their best moves while celebrating all the amazing positive behaviours they’ve been demonstrating at school. 🌟

It was wonderful to see so many happy faces, lots of energy and plenty of dancing! 💙

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for helping make the afternoon such a fun and memorable event for our Kindy students. 🥰
