Earlier this month, four Creator Academy teams competed in the RoboCup Sydney Regional Tournament – Rescue Line Challenge, where students had to design and code an autonomous robot to navigate a complex course and rescue a victim from a simulated toxic spill.

A huge congratulations to NL Robotics for taking 1st Place and Speedy Turtle for finishing 3rd, with CJM in 4th and Unemployed Mini Sherman in 5th!

We’re incredibly proud of all four teams and the persistence, coding and debugging skills they developed with Head Coach Danny along the way.

Thank you to RoboCup Junior Australia and all the organisers and volunteers who made the event possible, and a special thank you to Thomas Hassall Anglican College for hosting our students.
