Eastwood Public School Spring Fair Welcome to the Eastwood Public School Spring Fair page This year’s Eastwood Public School Spring Fair will be held on Saturday, 29th August.

As many of you know, this is the school’s biggest fundraiser and its success is due to a fantastic community spirit that sees school families, teachers and the local community working together to transform our playground into a carnival for a fabulous fun-filled day. The Spring Fair brings together parents and families of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and experience. We all share a common intere

st – a quality education for our children – and past experience has shown that many great memories, experiences and new friendships result from families working together on Spring Fair. Funds raised from the Spring Fair over the years have provided our children with wonderful facilities such as the School Hall, the COLA, classroom air conditioning, playground equipment, the new outdoor learning area, and more recently, the multimedia/computer room, upgrades to the school hall sound system and new smart boards. We are the envy of many local schools where such resources and facilities are not always as available through state and federal funding. We are delighted to be organising this year’s Spring Fair and look forward to your participation and support.

Special thanks to Woolworths Eastwood for their year on year support for our Spring Fair! This year Woolworths provided us with the bottled soft drinks for our Spider drinks stall as well as coffee for Woodies cafe and stallholders tea and coffee. Thanks Michael (Woolworths Eastwood Store Manager) for organizing the goods for pick up and Macher (spider drinks stallholder) and Adeline(Spring Fair Convenor) for assisting the loading and unloading of the goods on the day.

Congratulations to our Raffle Grand Prize Winner Joanna Ka Po Leung!!! Joanna was the only winner who was actually in the hall on Raffle Day to be able to bring her prize home. She was also one of our active volunteers this year helping behind the scenes on Spring Fair preparation. Huge thanks to all sponsors Golden Art for the beautiful guitar, Dancekool for the dance scholarship, Chemist Warehouse for the amazing hamper, Medibank for the Fitbit and MyGym for the class voucher. Congratulations to our Spring Fair Raffle 2nd Prize winner Randy Toh! Randy was surprised to get the call from us regarding his win and even more surprised when he realized what he had won! Coincidentally Randy is one of our parent helpers who take time off on weekends to help with second hand goods collection. EPS Spring Fair extends our thanks to Randy for his support with buying raffle tickets as well as volunteering his time.
