🚲 A fun fact about He-Shyan:
He’s recently gotten into working on and riding bikes.
He reckons there’s actually a similarity between fixing a bike and tutoring: pay close attention, work out exactly what’s going wrong, then figure out what needs to change to get everything working properly again. 🔧
🧠 He-Shyan’s top study tip?
ACTIVE RECALL.
Instead of simply rereading your notes, close the book and try to remember, explain or apply what you’ve learned without any help.
Can’t remember it? That’s useful too! It shows you exactly what you need to work on—and the act of trying to retrieve the information can help strengthen your memory.

Music!
He-Shyan loved that music wasn’t just about mastering an instrument. It gave him the opportunity to learn about people, history and culture, make friends, develop a skill and express himself.
