Class 3 enjoying our beautifully restored library space. Our librarian, Sharon, has carefully considered book choice and curated not only a school library, but a space for curiosity, wellbeing and retreat.

Class 1 introduces Maths in an imaginative pictorial way. The equals sign is a sign of balance and Rita, our Class 1 teacher, has brought the concept of balance to the children via the fun of the circus!

Class 4 have been learning about the history of writing, making paper and learning how to use all sorts of different writing tools. Last week our Japanese exchange students helped them write their names with ink and brush.

Dear Linuwel community

This weekend we are again blessed to have the opportunity for a weekend of Bothmer studies and active community afternoons at Linuwel. This work is so health-giving and brings such positivity and energy for our school and our Steiner/Waldorf community.
Our current Bothmer students (for teacher training) shall again be gathering in the gym at Linuwel from Friday, August 28 until the afternoon of Monday, August 31.
Across Saturday and Sunday (3–5.30pm), there will be relaxed drop-in sessions of movement and games with Bothmer Gymnastics for adults — a joyful and enlivening way to move together.
If you would like to join us and drop in over the weekend, you are warmly welcomed from 3pm. 💫

The Spring Fair will be selling produce generously donated by the community. If you have any garden produce you would like to gift to the produce stall, please bring it to the school on fair morning or to the office prior (for preserves etc).

Our pond is a central feature of Linuwel, a place for long-necked turtles, cormorants and the odd Pelican. The Spring Fair is an opportunity to see the school from a different vantage point. A much-loved activity on fair day.
