The Piano Bug Music School

Little hands need a whole different approach to learning an instrument. We move, we sing and we use a ton of floor activities to help that musicanship along. Every term we work around a theme and our students love this!

Enrollments are now open for 4 and 5 yr olds, Mondays and Fridays at 2pm. It’s a drop off session for 30 min and grown ups are invited back into the lesson in the last 15 minutes for a shared keyboard activity, to help with piano play at home🎹

Our juniors have a blast in our group piano classes. It lays a wonderful foundation for young pianists. Listening and ear training is the focus along with singing. Music theory is included, with a composition at the end of each booklet they work through. They learn mini pieces around a theme each term, and celebrate with a class concert. Our students often bounce into classes with joy!

Enrollment is now open for Term 4. We are carrying 2026 lesson fees into 2027, so if you’ e been thnking of group piano for your 5- 12 year old, this is a great time to book them in!

This week, our teachers did not turn up, so two hungry caterpillars, a dalmatian puppy and little red riding hood stepped in! We love bookweek at our studio!

There’s storytime at every single lesson!! It’s part of our routine in class, and the minute we bring our storyblanket out, every little heart in class is ready to listen!

It’s more than a music class! Every lesson is intentional and flows into the next. Why? It builds cognitive thinking and this takes time in early childhood. And it must all be delivered with plenty of musical play!! Our Musikbugs are thriving !!
