If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re holding a lot — and something inside you is shifting.

Grief. Burnout. A big decision. A quiet sense that the way you’ve been living no longer fits.

I’m Annette Boyle — a nationally recognised counsellor, clinical supervisor and educator, and founder of The Studio. With 30 years’ experience, I offer work that is trauma-informed, reflective and ethically grounded.

My approach integrates psychological understanding, somatic awareness and symbolic tools, supporting people to make sense of what they’re carrying and to reconnect with their own clarity and capacity to move forward.

The Studio is a place to pause, reflect and reconnect — not through quick fixes or surface-level strategies, but through spacious, emotionally attuned support that honours the body, the story and the season you’re in.

Whether you’re grieving, emotionally exhausted, navigating change, or re-imagining what comes next, this is a space where you don’t have to perform or explain — you can simply arrive.

Ways to work together

• Counselling — individual Studio Sessions
• Clinical Supervision & Mentoring (Clinical Educator, headspace)
• Education & Workshops — reflective and integrative

I’m especially committed to women and families in rural and remote communities. My family has lived in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt for generations, and I now work between Walyalup (East Fremantle) and Wiilman Country (Wandering), with online sessions available.

I offer the kind of support I once needed myself — steady, ethical and deeply human.

Trigger Warning- Youth Su***de

My son Ethan had someone reach out to him via social media expressing thoughts of su***de. With su***de being the leading cause of death for young people 12-25, and the increasing presence of online activity, young people are at the frontlines of seeing their friends in distress.

After sharing my concern of the distress this caused both of us at the Imagined Futures Youth Initiative meeting I Chair, collectively we decided to explore what we could do.

Exploring what young people need to give them the confidence to respond to a friend safely, ultimately led to the co-design of the RightByYou website. Alongside the Youth Project Steering Committee and youth consultations, the website is a development of what young people want to be able to access when they need help to be able to help their friends.

RBY is a web tool designed by and for young people (12-25) to inform and empower other young Australians to reach out and support a friend showing suicidal concerns online. By promoting Australia’s leading evidence-based youth su***de prevention resources within one accessible platform, the website aims to build young people’s confidence in identifying warning signs, initiating important conversations, and referring friends to help. There are also resources for parents, teachers sport coaches etc as well.

Everybody has a role to play in the well-being of our young people. The website is not a final solution to informing young people, but it’s there if they feel they need some instant trustable information.

Make sure you check out the website - and to help spread the message, you can find the “Community Campaign Toolkit” on the About page 😊
