Our resident bearded dragon, Spike, has taken over the office today and is clearly very busy answering emails, updating paperwork and keeping everyone on track!

We’re not sure how much work is actually getting done… but he certainly looks like he’s in charge!

There’s a lot that happens at Sparrow that you don’t always see, and safeguarding is a big part of that.

It’s the quiet observations. The check ins between educators. The careful documentation. The conversations that happen behind the scenes to make sure every child is safe, supported and heard.

It’s constant, intentional and always centred on children.
