The countdown is on! 🎉 Book Week officially begins Monday, and we’re so excited to celebrate the wonderful world of books, stories and imagination with our little readers! 🌈📖

Throughout the week, children are invited to dress up as their favourite book character on any day! 🦸‍♀️🧚‍♂️🐻👑🧙‍♀️

Whether it’s a beloved classic, a funny story, a magical adventure or a favourite bedtime book, we can’t wait to see all the amazing characters come to life at our centre! 💫

📚 A little reminder: Costumes can be worn on any day during Book Week — so choose your favourite character, grab your favourite book and get ready for a week full of stories, smiles and imagination! ❤️

🧪✨ That’s a wrap on Science Week! ✨🧪

What an incredible week of exploring, discovering and learning we’ve had! 🌈🔬

Our children have enjoyed a wonderful range of hands-on experiments and exciting science experiences, sparking their curiosity and encouraging them to ask questions, make predictions, investigate and discover how things work.

From colourful reactions and messy experiments to fascinating observations and lots of “wow!” moments, it has been fantastic to see the children so engaged and excited about science. 💡🧠

We are so proud of our little scientists and the wonderful discoveries they made along the way! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

Next week, we’ll be celebrating the wonderful world of books, stories and imagination! 📖💫

We can’t wait to see all the exciting activities and experiences the children will be exploring throughout the week. From favourite stories to creative adventures, there will be so much fun and learning along the way! 🌈🎨🧸

But most of all, we’re super excited to see our little book lovers dressed up as their favourite book characters! 👑🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️🐻📚

🐣 Henny Penny Has Arrived! 🐣

We have some very exciting news at our centre — Henny Penny has arrived! 🐔💛

The children have been absolutely thrilled to watch our eggs hatch and see the little chicks make their way into the world. It has been such a wonderful hands-on learning experience as the children observe the chicks, talk about how they grow, and care for their new fluffy friends. 🥰

So far, 7 beautiful chicks have hatched, and we still have 7 eggs remaining in the incubator! 🥚🐣

We can’t wait to see if more little chicks arrive over the coming days. The excitement and wonder on the children’s faces has been priceless! 💕🐥

Our school children had a fun-filled morning learning all about the solar system! 🪐☀️

The children discovered fascinating facts about the planets and then got creative by painting their very own planets. 🎨🖌️ They used their colourful creations to make a beautiful solar system mobile to proudly display! 🌍⭐

Our kindergarten children have been busy preparing for their exciting transition to big school! 🏫💛

Through fun, hands-on activities, the children have been developing their fine motor skills, pencil control and name recognition by practising writing their names. ✍️✨

It’s wonderful to see their confidence grow as they proudly recognise and write their own names. These little steps are helping build the important skills they’ll need as they embark on their next big adventure! 🌈📚

🚀🌎 3… 2… 1… BLAST OFF! 🚀✨

Our Pre-Kindy children have been exploring their imaginations and reaching for the stars as they embarked on an exciting space adventure! 🌙⭐️

Together, the children worked as a team to design and build their very own rocket ship using cardboard boxes, transforming our learning environment into a spaceship ready for take-off! 🚀📦 Through painting, creating, experimenting and imaginative play, the children brought their rocket to life and enjoyed taking turns being astronauts, exploring the wonders of outer space. 👩‍🚀👨‍🚀

As part of our space exploration, the children have been learning about what we can find beyond our planet — from the 🌞 Sun and 🌙 Moon to ⭐️ stars, planets and the vastness of our solar system. They have been sharing their ideas, asking questions and using their curiosity to discover more about the world beyond Earth.

This experience has encouraged so much wonderful learning, including creativity, collaboration, communication, problem-solving and imaginative thinking. Most importantly, the children have had the opportunity to learn through play while having an out-of-this-world adventure! 🌌💫

Today, Ms. Liz introduced our Kindy children to the fascinating world of our sense of sight! 🌈✨

The children discovered just how magnificent our eyes are and explored how they help us see, explore, discover and understand the wonderful world around us. 🌎💡

Through curiosity, conversation and hands-on learning, the children developed a deeper understanding of how our eyes work and why our sense of sight is so important in our everyday lives. 👁️💕

Dear Families,

Please note that Kidventure Early Learning Eagleby will be closed on Monday, 10 August in observance of the EKKA Show Holiday.

We hope everyone enjoys the public holiday and has a wonderful, safe day with family and friends. 🌼
