Kids College Biggest Morning Tea

Our Biggest Morning Tea was a wonderful success, bringing together our families, friends, and local community for a meaningful cause.

Hosted in our car park, the event was filled with delicious treats, warm conversations, and plenty of smiles as we came together to raise funds for cancer research and support. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our community while making a positive difference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, donated, baked, and supported this special event. Together, we've shown the incredible impact a caring community can make. 💛

Building meaningful connections through learning and collaboration. 🤎

On 16th June, our Kids College team had the pleasure of welcoming Brendan, a Dharawal man, to our team meeting.

Together, we shared a meaningful yarn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in early childhood education, reflected on our Reconciliation Action Plan, and explored ways to strengthen authentic community partnerships. These conversations are an important part of our ongoing commitment to creating a culturally inclusive and respectful learning environment for children, families, and educators.

A heartfelt thank you to Brendan for sharing his knowledge, experiences, and insights with us. We look forward to continuing this valued relationship and learning together.

Last Wednesday, our preschoolers took part in a First Aiders for Preschoolers incursion.

This interactive session helped build the children's confidence, problem solving skills, and understanding of how to care for others, while reinforcing the importance of safety in everyday situations. We are incredibly proud of how engaged and enthusiastic the children were throughout the incursion.

The children enjoyed a range of hands on experiences while learning valuable first aid and safety skills. They practised applying bandages, performed CPR on training mannequins, and learned how to call for help in an emergency. They also explored ways to keep themselves and others safe and discussed what to do if someone is injured or feeling unwell.

✨ Spreading Christmas Joy at Campbelltown Hospital ✨
Throughout December, our community came together for a very special cause. We held a donation drive for gifts from our wonderful families, and on Christmas Eve we delivered these presents to the children in the Campbelltown Hospital Children’s Ward.

Your generosity made this moment truly unforgettable. This morning, we had the privilege of dropping off all the beautiful donations you shared with us. The Nursing Unit Manager and nursing staff were overwhelmed by the kindness shown, and were delighted to receive gifts that will bring happiness to children spending Christmas in hospital.

To everyone who donated — thank you. Your thoughtfulness is a beautiful gesture, and a reminder of the power of community. We are so grateful to work alongside families who care deeply about reaching out and lifting others up.
