shahnaz vocal school Music business mentor/vocal teacher Shahnaz Vocal School is celebrating 17 years in the business!

Established in 2003, with a 18 month old in the back of the valiant with my keyboard and notepad, I started as a mobile teacher in Cranbourne for 3 months and then had the opportunity to teach at Cranbourne music school for 6 months before moving to a beautiful place called Eagle Point. Throughout my teaching career, I am proud to say I have led many students to major auditions and have helped sha

pe their image. At age 44, I look back on my singing career and I feel like I have achieved a lot. I have been singing for 34 years and I have experience in jazz, classical and pop music. The highlight of my singing career was having the opportunity to be trained by David Jaanz, singing teacher to many past and present famous singers. I have participated in many events ranging from, weddings, charity concerts, competitions, eisteddfods and have been the entertainment for many private parties, at restaurants and have recently been entertaining residents at Aged care facilities. I have been in bands and are now part of an acoustic duo entertaining the residents of East Gippsland. I have 2 demo tapes and have written and composed many original songs. I have written a performing arts course, was a choir teacher and a school production choreographer at a local primary school. Together with all my musical knowledge and attending music seminars, I was able to offer a service of being a mentor for new and established bands and solo artists and was able to help them with their music obstacles and shape them for the music industry. Over the last 2 years I have expanded my singing school offering guitar, drums and now music therapy for children and adults. I am proud of my achievements and I just love helping people build confidence and achieve their musical dreams!

So if my prices go up, here's why..lol JK, I wont put them up, but the cost of fuel these days make it tempting!

If any of my students have cans and bottles they would like to donate to my Not for profit, you're welcome to bring a bag and leave at the front fence or for smaller bags you can put them in my recycling station at my front fence
All donation money goes toward keeping my programs running and for the cost of resources. Please make sure u tip all the liquid out of cans and if u like, I can give u a recycling sack to fill up.

Happy new year to everyone. Even though NDIS students have started back earlier, it's so great to see the enthusiam from some of my other students wanting to come back early to singing, I offically start back Term 1 but I wont be available from the Thursday 5th Feb -Thursday 12th Feb ( so some students will have lessons ) I will remind you all as I go along.
There are spots avilable for the following,
Generational Happiness school holiday program Wednesday 21st January 10:30-11:30 (singing and activites with the residents)
Opal aged care singing Saturday 31st January 10:-11:30

Last week of lessons till our concert on Saturday. For anyone who would like an EXTRA lesson this week, I will be doing these on Friday. On Friday as well will be last rehearsal with Julie our Piano lady, that will be from 12:30-1:30. If you know anyone who they themselves or their children who would like to have singing lesson next year, please invite them to come on Saturday. Abby and Rosie you will need to be at the studio at 4 pm on Friday as you will be going through my song with me, this will only be for 10 mins. I know there will be "bundles" of nerves and that's ok. If need be I get on stage and support you with your songs. Have a great week everyone!
