📚✨ Book Week Magic with Author Liz Hale! ✨📚

Today we were thrilled to welcome author Liz Hale, who visited our classrooms and took us on an adventure into the fascinating world of mythology and mythical creatures in books. 🐉🦄📖

But the fun didn’t stop there! Liz challenged us to create our very own mythical monsters. We each drew a head, body and legs on separate pieces of paper, keeping each section hidden as we went. 🤫✏️

Then came the BIG REVEAL! 🎉 Everyone was so excited to see their wonderfully wacky monster masterpieces come to life.

What a wonderful celebration of reading, imagination and creativity at Duri Public School! Our students looked absolutely amazing as they took part in our Book Week Parade, bringing this year's theme, “A Symphony of Stories”, to life. 🎭📖✨
A huge congratulations to our parade winners: Jayda, Savannah, Arlo, Evelyn, Kalieb and Indy 👏 Well done to all of our students for their incredible costumes and for making our Book Week celebration so much fun! 📚❤️
