Congratulations to our Junior White Basketball team on winning the HZSA Division 2 Championship after an incredible 22-21 Grand Final victory.

Thank you to our coaches, staff and the Redfield Basketball Club for investing in our boys throughout the season. Most importantly, congratulations to every player for representing the College with courage, humility and determination.

Learning a language is learning a new way of seeing the world. 🌍

Congratulations to Daniel and Louis-Thomas, who were selected as Language Ambassadors representing Redfield College at the NSW School of Languages. Out of a group of 21 students, they were chosen to help promote and support language learning within their school community.

The day of celebration included a formal ceremony, morning tea with families, and dedicated training led by language teachers. These experiences highlight the value of communication, cultural understanding, and the role students can play in inspiring others to embrace language learning.

Serving others reminds our boys that leadership is built on humility, compassion, and respect. Experiences like these help form principled young men who understand that making a difference often begins with small acts of kindness and a genuine willingness to serve those around them.

This is the kind of character we strive to nurture at Redfield College. Our boys learn that true leadership is measured by how they treat others, especially those most in need. We are incredibly grateful to James, Andrew and Kevan for volunteering with the Ryde Vinnies Van alongside Mr Darren Corke and Mr David Vassallo. Thank you for representing our school with generosity, empathy and servant leadership.

Resilience turns pressure into performance. ⚽

In a hard-fought match at Hills Grammar, the Redfield Intermediate XI showed real character to come away as HZSA Division 2 winners. Daniel L opened the scoring with a composed finish before the team faced setbacks, going down 2-1 despite controlling much of the possession.

What followed was a strong display of resilience and determination. Daniel L levelled the match with a superb strike from distance, before Isaiah S sealed the win with a precise volley into the bottom corner. The boys showed composure under pressure and a strong team spirit to finish the game 3-2 victors.

Congratulations to the team, coaches and supporters for an outstanding performance and well-earned victory.

From school courts to state champions. 🏀

Congratulations to Hendricks on helping the NSWCIS Boys Basketball team claim the 2026 NSWPSSA State Championship. Earning selection in the Combined Independent Schools team is an outstanding achievement that reflects years of commitment, resilience and consistent hard work. Progressing through multiple levels of trials against some of NSW's strongest young basketballers is no easy feat, making this achievement even more significant.

Success in sport is built on more than talent. It calls for discipline, perseverance and the ability to work selflessly as part of a team. We are proud to see our students striving for excellence while growing in character, leadership and humility.
