💙 Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today, we celebrate all the wonderful fathers who play such an important role in our children’s lives.

On Friday, we had a beautiful Father’s Day celebration. Thank you to all the dads who came along and shared this special occasion with us. We would also like to thank the family members and grandfathers who joined us and helped make the day so meaningful. It was wonderful to see the children enjoying special moments and creating beautiful memories together.

These everyday connections are so important in children’s early years and help them feel loved, supported and valued. 💙

We loved seeing the children proudly participate in the beautiful activities prepared by our educators and share the joy of Father’s Day with their families.

Thank you to all our educators for the thoughtful and engaging activities, and to Anna for the beautiful morning tea, delicious brownies and refreshing iced tea. 🧁🧊

📚✨ What a Wonderful Book Week Celebration! ✨📚
Thank you to all our wonderful families for celebrating Book Week with us and dressing the children in their cutest and most creative costumes! 💕 The children looked absolutely adorable and were so excited to dress up, explore their favourite characters and share the joy with their friends and educators.

Our Book Week celebration was filled with fun, creativity and learning! The children enjoyed exploring an animal themed edible sensory bin, painting The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and creating a big Hungry Caterpillar by painting paper plates green. 🐛🎨 They had the opportunity to explore different textures, colours and materials through these hands on sensory and creative experiences.

One of the most exciting moments was our little Book Week Parade, where some of our babies with toddlers and preschoolers proudly marched through the centre in their beautiful costumes. Seeing the children smiling, waving and confidently showing off their costumes was such a special moment! 🌟

We finished our wonderful celebration with music and dancing, creating lots of happy memories together. 🎶💃🕺

Thank you once again to all our families for joining us and helping us create such a fun and memorable Book Week celebration. Your involvement made the day even more special! ❤️📚✨

Through these experiences, the children developed their creativity, imagination, communication and social skills. Sensory play supported their sensory awareness and fine motor development, while painting encouraged hand-eye coordination, concentration and self-expression. Dressing up and participating in the parade also supported confidence, pretend play, social interaction and a sense of belonging as children celebrated together with their peers and educators.

Tiny Town Early Learning Centre is deeply honoured to be named a Finalist in the 2026 Northern Territory Local Business Awards, our second year in a row being recognised.
This achievement means so much to us. It reflects the trust families place in our team, the love and care our educators give every day, and the beautiful community that surrounds Tiny Town.
To every parent, guardian, child, and staff member, thank you. Your support, kindness, and belief in what we do have carried us to this moment once again. We are grateful beyond words, and we celebrate this milestone with you.
Together, we continue to grow, nurture, and create a place where children feel safe, valued, and inspired.

We always enjoy our yoga sessions with Miss Lucy! 🧘‍♀️💚

Our children have so much fun stretching, moving, and learning mindfulness together. Every session ends with beautiful stickers, which always bring big smiles to their faces! 🌟

Thank you, Miss Lucy, for making yoga such a positive and enjoyable experience for our little learners. We always look forward to our next session!

Miss Jalpa is an amazing educator and dedicated Room Leader who contributes so much to our centre every single day. Her kindness, passion, creativity, and commitment to providing the best care and learning experiences for our children make her a valued member of the Tiny Town family.
