Here in Queanbeyan you may have noticed a shortage of preschool spots.

If you are looking for a 3-4 year old preschool program, we have current vacancies at Duntroon Playschool in Campbell.

The program runs 3 days a week, Tuesday - Thursday 9:30 - 2:30 during ACT school terms; and one Playschool Lite program during the ACT school holidays 9:30 - 1:30. We are closed for the Christmas/New Year period for 4 weeks.

Our program is approved for CCS for eligible families.

We cater for all families in our community (not just Defence children) so if you know of someone still looking for a preschool program, please share this post.

Playschool operates 9:30AM - 2:30PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the ACT school term.

We're excited to see our returning and new friends get settled into our program for 2026!

The Duntroon Community Centre is now closed for 2025.
Thank you to all members who have attended our programs and events!
Special mention to program facilitators and our committee members who volunteer their time!

Any emails/comments/messages will be responded to when the centre re-opens from Tuesday 3 February 2026.
Playschool Lite will be operating on Tuesday 20 January and Tuesday 27 January and is available to enrolled children, please email [email protected] for inquiries.

The Duntroon Community Centre AGM is approaching. Sunday 23rd November at 11AM.
All DCC VIP Members are welcome and invited to attend.

We are looking for community members who may be interested in volunteering their time to support our programs and events. In various executive committee positions, general committee positions, as playschool representatives or volunteer program facilitators.
