Thank you for supporting your small, independent and local business and childcare. This is just one of the many reasons for choosing independent childcare’s.

Really, how much more evidence do we need? These private equity backed early childhood education and care providers are quite literally toxic.
 
A mould-ridden rodent-infested service like this one should not be such a perfect exemplar for the corporatised early childhood sector we’ve built in Australia over the last 30 years, but it is. The only way we will begin to turn things around is by refocusing the sector on children’s safety, wellbeing and education, and that starts by acknowledging that private equity vultures like Affinity have no place providing these services.

❤️💛🖤 NAIDOC Week at CapeCare 🖤💛❤️

This week, we had the privilege of celebrating NAIDOC Week with our wonderful friends at CapeCare. Together, we shared stories, laughter, and meaningful connections across generations.

We enjoyed singing songs, reading the beautiful stories The Rainbow Serpent and Somewhere in Australia, and expressing our creativity by colouring our own Rainbow Serpents.

Experiences like these help children develop an appreciation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, traditions, and storytelling while fostering a sense of belonging, respect, and connection within our community.

Thank you to our friends at CapeCare for sharing this special celebration with us. We can’t wait to visit again! ❤️
