"After a horse makes a move that you don’t want, don’t do anything about it. Just start over and know what he’ll do wrong the next time and catch it before it happens. He’s made an arrangement to do it, so then use it to fix it. Encourage the things you want. Discourage the things you don’t want.” - Ray Hunt

Eight weeks on the road and I'm finally HOME... hopefully for the rest of August 🤠

Between work trips and a few personal adventures, it's been an incredible couple of months. But there really is no place like home.

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience while I've been away. My response times definitely slowed down a little, but I'm looking forward to getting back on top of everything.

Now it's time to switch gears because Cowgirls Gathering Mini is only 55 days away 🎉

If you're still hoping to join us, or you need the link to:

.. just send me a message and I'll send it through.

Now I'd better stop talking about the event and start getting my own ponies legged up 😂 The countdown is officially on, and we can't wait to welcome you all to Kilkivan!

Seven years apart, I built two very different businesses to solve the same problem.

The Cowgirls Gathering came first, because I wanted women in this industry to feel less alone in it. I wanted them to feel genuinely welcomed, regardless of the horse they rode, the gear they wore, their experience level, or where they came from.

Arena Link came later, because I kept watching incredible riders, educators, arenas and events go unseen, with no easy way for our community to find each other.

This week, those two worlds come together.

I'm incredibly proud to welcome Arena Link as the Platform Partner for Cowgirls Gathering.

Every Cowgirls Gathering event will be available on Arena Link, making it easier for riders across Australia to discover what's happening, where it's happening and who's involved.

Arena Link exists to help riders, educators, arenas, clubs, committees and event organisers get found more easily, connect with the right people, and spend less time relying on algorithms, word of mouth and luck.

As part of this partnership, every Gathering educator is being invited into Arena Link's Foundation Program, and everyone who has gathered with us before will receive early access to create their Rider Profile before the platform opens to the public on 1 July.

If that's you, keep an eye on your inbox.

Two very different businesses, solving the same problem in two very different ways. 💛
