🍏 Canteen Flexischools Update 🍏

Thank you to our school community for your patience yesterday morning during the brief interruption with Flexischools.

Flexischools were onto it straight away and worked quickly to resolve the issue. Most importantly, no student went without lunch.

As part of the fix, we had to cancel a small number of duplicate orders. Refunds for these orders have been returned to the customer's Flexischools wallet. If you believe there is still an issue or you have not received your refund, please contact Flexischools directly on 1300361769.

Thank you for your continued support of our canteen and for your understanding during the hiccup. Of course it had to happen on a Friday! 🫣

✨June P&C Meeting Wrap Up ✨

Last night we held our monthly P&C meeting via Zoom, with the option for members to join online available for all of our meetings.
We know life is busy, so we're always looking for ways to make it easier for parents and carers to be involved.

A big thank you to Natalie P***k for joining us as relieving principal and sharing an insightful presentation on NAPLAN and our school's results. Natalie’s excitement about our school's continually improving achievements was infectious, and her passion for public education and our wonderful school really shone through. It was fantastic to see and hear about the great work happening across our school.

We also discussed our current chocolate fundraiser for the Year 6 Farewell Dinner, along with some exciting upcoming events including the Father's Day Stall, Neon Disco, and a brand new idea we're very excited about - a Community Cookbook! More details on that project will be coming soon.

Finally, a huge thank you to our amazing executive team, who work tirelessly behind the scenes every week to make important improvements and positive changes for our P&C and school community. Your dedication is greatly appreciated.

Notes with more info have been sent home this week!! Please get them back in to the class teacher asap! 🤗

~ May 2026 P&C Meeting ~

Thank you to Mrs Renae Giddings, Mrs Renee Matheson and Ms Michelle Gavin for attending our P&C meeting and informing us about all of the amazing work that they do in the Wellbeing Team.

It was great to be able to hear how children’s individual needs are identified and catered for through teacher referrals and data from initiatives such as Grow Your Mind, Positive Behaviour Expectations (PBE) and Life Skills Go.

With the diversity of our school community growing it was especially encouraging to hear how all of our students arriving from other countries or those where English may be their second language, are supported within the school learning environment.

A big thank you to the Wellbeing Leaders and their amazing support staff in all they do to grow our children and provide such a safe space for learning.

~ P&C Mother’s Day Stall ~

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers for helping make this year’s Mother’s Day Stall another success! 💐

A special shoutout to Cindy Houston for all the work ordering and setting up the stall, with the help of Melissa Carpenter, Amy Rutherford and Teneille Houghton.

The stall ran so smoothly thanks to Cindy, Jane Donald, Karen Irwin, Trudy Finlay and our wonderful SRC students who all gave up their time to help. We truly appreciate everyone who contributed ❤️

If your child missed out, or would still like to purchase something extra, the canteen will have remaining items available at recess and lunch until sold out.
