๐ŸฆŽ๐Ÿข A Wild Day of Learning at the Zoo! ๐Ÿธ๐ŸŒฟ

Our Kindergarteners had a fantastic day at the zoo! ๐Ÿพ

They had the exciting opportunity to get up close and carefully touch a shingleback lizard, long-necked turtle and frog, learning lots of interesting facts about these amazing animals. ๐ŸฆŽ๐Ÿข๐Ÿธ

We also learnt about Aboriginal Dreamtime stories, making connections with culture, Country and the animals around us. ๐ŸŒโค๏ธ

To finish off a wonderful day of learning and exploring, we had plenty of fun playing in the playground!

๐ŸŒพ Dance ๐ŸŸค Culture ๐ŸŸค Pride ๐ŸŒพ

Yesterday, our school was privileged to witness something truly special; our young First Nations dancers sharing culture, knowledge and story through dance.

Dance is more than a performance. It is a powerful way of connecting with culture, community, Country and one another. Our Stage 2 and Stage 3 dancers are embracing this opportunity with incredible pride and commitment, using their voices, movement and leadership to help keep culture strong and create opportunities for others to learn and share.

It was a privilege to welcome visiting State AECG representatives to our school, who came especially to hear from our dancers about why they dance, what sharing culture means to them, and how they can inspire other young people and schools to take up this important work.

A huge congratulations to our Stage 2 and 3 dancers, you are helping to make our school culture stronger, richer and more connected. Thank you to our local AECG for meeting with us๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–คโค๏ธ

Keep dancing, keep sharing, keep leading.
