As the very last performance of the day, the adjudicator noted this performance was the highlight of his day.
Our Stage 3 First Nations Dancers performed a powerful Fire dance - Gurrumarra. The time, work and effort paid off as they were awarded a well deserved 1st Place. It was an absolute pleasure working with these strong, proud dancers. Thank you also to Holly Faulds for her creativity and cultural guidance with this piece 🤩

To end a long day and some great high energy sections, our First Nations Stage 2 ensemble performed an elegant, Sing Me Into Country and were awarded a well deserved 2nd Place. I was incredibly proud to work with these 40 strong, respectful dancers.
