🌟 Celebrating Book Week at Dubbo West Preschool 📚

Local Aboriginal artist Hayden Wood worked with our preschool children to create a collaborative artwork celebrating 50 years of NAIDOC. This incredible piece is proudly displayed at the entrance to our preschool, welcoming everyone who visits.

Thank you, Hayden, for being part of such a special milestone in our preschool community. Your contribution has helped create a lasting legacy for this significant celebration.

Over the last couple of weeks, we have loved welcoming students from St Pius X and Delroy to our preschool. These regular visits have provided valuable opportunities for meaningful interactions, shared play experiences, and development of positive relationships. Through spending time together, the children have built confidence, strengthened their social skills, and fostered a greater sense of belonging within the wider community. These community connections enrich our learning environment and help children develop an appreciation for inclusion, collaboration, and caring for others.

Cathryn and Sam are at the Early Childhood Forum today! If you’re interested in a career working with children, come along and learn more. The forum is open to the public from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, we’d love to see you there, so be sure to stop by and say hello.

Come along to the forum and learn about all of the careers you can follow. There will be fantastic speakers. High school children will be attending in the morning but anyone can register or drop in from 1pm from the community. Who knows, if we get enough interest from the community this awesome prize will be up for grabs! Tell your friends 🙂
