What a fun day we had at our centre with WOW Encounters! 🐍🦎

The children loved getting up close to the reptiles, learning lots of interesting information and enjoying some hands-on experiences, including painting activities.

There were so many smiles, brave moments and excited faces throughout the day!

Our clothing pool is here to support all families in our community. Families are welcome to:
✨ Give what you can - donate any clean children’s clothing, shoes, jackets or spare items your family no longer needs.
✨ Take what you need - if your child needs extra clothing items, please feel free to take from the clothing pool at any time.
Together, we can support one another, reduce waste, and help keep our little learners warm and comfortable throughout the seasons ♻️

Our very own small dinosaur world in the playground is starting to come to life 🌿🪵🌋

The children have already been showing so much excitement, curiosity, and imagination as we continue creating this special space together 💚🦴🥚

We can’t wait to keep adding more loose parts, greenery, dinosaurs, and sensory experiences to make it even more magical 🌱🪨🦕✨

We were lucky enough to pick up these wonderful books for our centre with our very own town in it from the Dubbo Show on the weekend. 🎡

🐕 One Yelpy Kelpie in the Great Western Plains Adventure follows Bertram McGraw, a lively kelpie who travels across country NSW looking for lost animals and exploring rural towns like Coonabarabran, Coonamble, Gilgandra, Narromine and Dubbo. 🗺️

The children were excited to see some familiar trademarks of our town such as
Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Old Dubbo Gaol, Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, Western Plains Cultural Centre, Wellington Caves and Narromine Aviation Museum. 🦒✈️ 📜 🖼️

The story is told in fun rhyming text and is part of Jo Rothwell’s children’s series that celebrates Australian landscapes, wildlife and country communities.
The kelpie character is based on the Australian working kelpie dog, known for being smart, hardworking and used for mustering sheep in rural Australia. 🐑 🐕

Preschool 1 Car Wash Excursion 🧽🚗

Preschool 1 had a wonderful time during our Car Wash Excursion in the centre car park!

The children loved washing the cars, working together and getting involved in some fun hands-on learning. They showed great teamwork, confidence and enthusiasm throughout the experience.

As the children enjoyed this activity so much, we will continue to offer our Car Wash Excursion over the coming weeks to further support their interests and learning. 🚙 🧽

New Outdoor Play Space! 🌳🚗

We’ve created a new roadway area around our beautiful shade tree, complete with roads, signs and vehicles to inspire imaginative play and exploration.

This space encourages children to develop communication, problem-solving and social skills while engaging in meaningful outdoor play.

We can’t wait to see the adventures, stories and learning that unfolds here! 💛

Today our Preschool 2 children enjoyed a wonderful excursion to South Lakes for a picnic and nature scavenger hunt 🌿☀️

The children explored their environment, searched for natural treasures, shared lunch together and worked as a team while building confidence, curiosity and a love for the outdoors 🍃🪵🦋

It was such a lovely morning out, filled with laughter, exploration and meaningful learning experiences in nature. We are so proud of the children for their enthusiasm, listening skills and teamwork throughout the excursion 💚
