Dubbo School of Distance Education - NSW DEC Welcome to the Dubbo School of Distance Education - NSW DEC official page.

Established in 1991, Dubbo School of Distance Education (DSODE) provides a valuable equity service for NSW students, who are unable to attend their local school or access courses because they are not offered in their home school. The school develops and implements quality blended learning programs and creates opportunities for students and teachers to interact through face-to-face contact, telepho

‼️𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 - 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁.‼️

Creating a safe and respectful environment is a shared responsibility, and small acts can make a real difference.
Small actions, like including someone, speaking up, or showing kindness, can help create change. Actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world.

Lasting change happens when schools build a culture that supports kindness and respect. Even small, intentional acts of kindness have a powerful ripple effect, building inclusivity and wellbeing. We are all about this at DSODE.
This Bullying No Way Week, we’re asking our school community to consider their words and actions, no matter how small, and be proud to be kind, support someone, and speak up against bullying.

We are running a colouring-in and poster design competition at DSODE to highlight our school core values as they align beautifully with the theme for this year's week of action - Small Acts Big Impact.
If you would like to participate, please choose to colour one of the attached designs or create your own poster in Canva to highlight our school core values of Respect, Responsibility and Communication.

Please submit your entry by Thursday 20th August to your class teacher (Primary) or your Student Adviser (years 7 to 12). There will be plenty of prizes for the designs... more information to come.

Let's all show our support!
