Our U3A classrooms are located in the old Dubbo High School buildings. This weekend the 1971-1976 classes of Dubbo High held a reunion with about 40 ex students attending. A number of these attend U3A classes in Dubbo and other cities. Speaking to some of them this morning, it was interesting to hear about the influence of U3A in their current lives and the variety of classes offered by their U3As.

Dubbo U3A applied for a Federal Govt. Volunteer Grant and was successful in receiving $1000. This grant recognises the work done by our volunteer committee and class leaders and, in accordance with grant guidelines, will be used to assist with the cost of our administration software. We acknowledge our local Federal Member, Jamie Chaffey, for recognising our volunteers with the awarding of this grant.
